Just wanted to thank you for the best guiding we have ever had on our many safari trips. And obviously your company was great too.

My name is George Tolchard. I am currently a Trials Guide for Singita Grumeti Reserve in the Serengeti, Tanzania.
I had the pleasure and honour of working very closely with Clinton Phillips (AKA). I was very privileged to have such a mentor. Walking in the African wilds is without a doubt my greatest passion and to spend so many days walking with “Cliffy” in the Okavango Delta was simply incredible. If getting out there in your own two feet, using your senses and becoming fluent in natures language is what you’re looking for then I can tell you, it does not get much better.
I learnt invaluable skills during my time training with Cliffy. Safety and respect for the nature around us always came first. I have a huge admiration for this and ultimately, everything else whilst out on the trail, would seem to fall into place.  Learning the ways in which Cliffy used the terrain, wind, cover and his knowledge of the animals behaviour to drift in and out of Potentially dangerous animal sightings undetected was simply magic. It is something that I carry with me; on every walk I embark on.
Cliffy was tough at times, and rightly so. He put me through my paces, I can certainly say, and if I had failed to comply with the necessary situational awareness that is paramount when walking in dangerous game areas, I would know about it! Firm and fair, he has a great knack of honing in on your skills but challenging them each and every time… making you better and better…. sharper and sharper.
The wildlife experiences I had whilst mentoring under Cliffy are some of the best I will ever have. So much so, that a small group of us do our very best to get together once a year to return to the Delta, walking the wilds once again with our good friend and mentor,
Clinton Phillips.

I did a FGASA NQF 2 course for one month with NGTB. To be in the bush surrounded by nature and wildlife was an amazing experience. I learned a lot and the trainers really opened my eyes how precious nature is.

I had the best time ever doing a back up trails course with Nature Guide Training Botswana/Natyre Guiding Company, the camp was amazing, no fences with animals around the camp it was amazing! I have learned so much with Clinton and Massi, being able to work on my walking hours in khwai with wild animals was a unique experience. We encountered so many species on foot and during game drives this place is like heaven for all the nature lovers! I really recommend Nature Guiding Company and a special mention to the lovely staff at the camp 😊.

I did a trails guide course with NGTB/NGC in August 2018, and had such a good time. I learned so much from the knowledgeable and experienced trainers Clinton Phillips and Massimo Rebuzzi, and the encounters and sightings was incredible. Elephants, Buffalo, leopards, wild dogs, hyenas and lions to mention some.
The camp is beautifully sat up in a riverbed in Khwai, and you truly live in nature. I can’t wait to go back in 2019 to gain more hours and encounters towards my lead. And of course to create amazing memories. I will highly recommend this training provider🤩🐘

I recommend Guide Training Botswana & Africa, From Germany, Completed the Trails Back Up Course in summer 2018, had an amazing time!
The area is truly fascinating both in terms of landscape and wildlife. Shared some awesome sightings with our instructors Clinton and Massimo who professionally lead us throughout the course.
Great experience overall, definitely recommend!

We had the time of our lives in Africa and it ended with an incredible lion kill this morning! Wow.
 But let me tell you that Jeffrey and I were so moved by the Spillway Canoe Experience that We couldn't stop talking about it to everyone.  Jeffrey is still getting over the Hippos but it was a right of passage for him...honestly. For me, it was truly life changing and profound.  I couldn't stop weeping all the way to Duba.  I didn't want to leave the river, nor the peace of that wilderness, nor the beautiful, beautiful nature of the animals!  I mean this sincerely;  I have not been so moved by a journey in this way for a very long time (and I have had some incredible journeys).  We adored your presence so much Cliff...your intelligence and strength of leadership and companionship made it possible to really imbibe the wilderness.  I shall never forget it.  Thank you, thank you so much.
AND WE will be back.  We vowed this tearfully to one another that evening.
