NGTB’s main focus currently, lies in linking with Botswana Safari Operators in order to train, coach and assess their employed and future Citizen guides to attaining the BQA Qualifications as a minimum. At the same time mentoring the guides on higher level guiding techniques, styles and how they can grow their careers as Professional Nature Guides. We work closely with operators via encompassing their Corporate Identity to enure it is embedded into their guiding staff we train.

• Guides we have trained on-site for companies have shown great commitment to achieve the various BQA qualifications and many are achieving them. The guides also show great enthusiasm and renewed vigor after our course completion.
• Operators which we have trained for, have commented very favorably on how their guides are showing much more interest in guiding as a profession as well as interacting with their guests in a more engaged manner.
• Operators which we have trained for have commented very favorably on how their guests positive comments on the guided experience offered has improved.
• Guides whom we have trained have all commented favorably on how the training and coaching we offered has helped improve their guiding from a macro as well as micro level. It inspired them and made them think of guiding in a different light.

Currently and for the first 4 months of 2017, NGTB and its team of trainers will be heavily involved  with many larger Botswana operators and their guides, completing BQA qualifications, polishing guiding hard and softer skills and inspiring individual guides growth path for their future guiding careers. After this, ongoing mentoring sessions are being put in place to ensure the integrity of taught skills, styles and conduct are being up-held by the guides for their respective employing Companies Identity.
